Martha’s Bloomers Named One of the Top Shopping Destinations in the South.
It should come as no surprise to their loyal customers that Martha’s Bloomers was recognized in the November issue of Southern Living magazine as the Number 5 shopping spot in their 50 Top Shops in the South.
Located on Hwy 6 in Navasota, 15 minutes south of Bryan-College Station and just an hours drive from Houston, Martha’s Bloomers opened in 2000 as a Home and Garden store and has grown into a dining experience and all-day shopping destination.
Along with our mascots, Martha and Bloomer, Martha’s Bloomers is filled with beautiful flowers, trees and shrubs. Martha’s stocks hard-to-find varieties to meet the landscaping needs from the novice gardener to the Master Gardener.
Café M. Bloomers is an important part of the whole Martha’s Bloomers experience. Serving fresh garden salads, sandwiches, quiche, homemade soups and truly decadent desserts, the restaurant looks out over the beautiful gardens, fountains and garden decor that surround the property. Linen tablecloths, delicious food and a beautiful serene garden setting make lunch at Café M. Bloomers a wonderful experience.
Café M. Bloomers serves lunch Tuesday thru Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm, and desserts and tea until 4 pm. Closed on Monday.
Along with Café M. Bloomers, Martha’s Bloomers offers several other amenities. The pottery house , which was originally a 90 year old, barn-type treasure, was spared from demolition and moved from its original location in Brenham to Navasota. The pottery house is overflowing with glazed and terracotta pottery from around the world.
If you like to hunt for treasures and unique items to accent your home, then you’ll love Martha’s Bloomers.
You’ll also find a large selection of garden books, stained glass, antiques, gift ideas and garden decor.
