Martha's Bloomers Story
Martha's Bloomers in Navasota, Texas opened to the public in November of 2000 and named after our resident felines, Martha & Bloomer. Beginning as a simple Home & Garden Store, offering a delightful variety of plants, home décor, and gift boutique items.
The property was built with and continues to be added onto with an eclectic collection of historical treasures from around the country keeping our vision in mind. So far it includes the grain bins with grain elevator from a feed store that was formerly the local Icehouse, a Brick Cistern moved in one piece from a location where it was scheduled to be torn down, the pottery building moved from Brenham and rebuilt on site, and a Windmill with stock tank relocated from a ranch in Colorado City, TX.
Café M Bloomers & Tea Room opened in 2002 to better serve our famished customers with a Fine Garden Dining experience. With an amazing selection of gourmet sandwiches, rich soups, delightful desserts, and Martha's own calming teas. We even offer a "High Tea" complete with Scones by reservation for your special someone!
Explore with awe this amazing destination and escape the hustle and bustle. You are greeted at the front door with beautiful greenery and an inviting water fall that sets the stage for your experience.
This setting is adorned with antiques and garden water features. The stone and decorative boulders that line the pathways were sourced from right here on the property. Thirty one Graceful Mature Live Oaks were transplanted from our past Tree Farm and shade the grounds. From the White Doves cooing in the gardens, follow multiple path's that either wind beside a Bald Cypress lined stream with a flagstone bridge or meander down to our beautiful pond and the World's Largest Teapot. Photo opportunities abound throughout your visit.
We continue to grow with informative classes and special events year-round. These include "Martha's Bloomers Annual Holiday in the Garden" celebration & thank you to our amazing customers which is held on the Friday before Thanksgiving.

Story of the Felines
The emporium was named after the resident felines Marty and Bloomer, and you can still see their framed business cards in the gift store. The cat on the fence on our signage and business cards is an ohmage to them. “When you arrive, you may well be greeted by our current supervising resident Marmalade.
Savory Fine Foods
Our famous saltine seasoning came about as a labor of love from our employees. By taking a family recipe and adding new ingredients, we created the ultimate flavor for a party cracker. They are super "savory" and have just enough kick to make them zing. That's how the name came about, it’s everything you would expect from the word SAVORY!
We have served them in our Café M Bloomers and folks started asking for a way to create them at home. So, we started putting our seasoning in easy-to-use packages. They became popular very quickly. No Bake...Simple to Make! Turning Ordinary Crackers into Amazing Party Crackers! Available in 10 Flavors and Ready Make Kits.
We hope you love our signature Savory Seasonings along with our expanding line of gourmet products, as much as we do. Drop us a line and let us know - we love to hear your comments and suggestions!
